DISTRICT SINGLES TOURNAMENT

The District Men's and Ladies Open and Senior Singles Tournaments were held at Estcourt Bowling Club on 17 and 18 January, 2015. It was a wonderful event to start the new year and all the players enjoyed a great weekend of camaraderie. Congratulations to the Winners of their respective Tournaments and indeed to all who participated. Spectators were treated to excellent Bowls throughout the weekend. Men's Open Singles winner, Dion Leaity from Richards Bay and the runner-up was Sid Price from Newcastle. Ladies Open Singles winner, Nola Dreyer from Vryheid and the runner-up was Nan Roos from Dundee. The Men's Senior Singles was won by John Douthwaite from Newcastle and the runner-up was Barry Mutlow from Richards Bay. The Ladies Senior Singles was won by Veronika Malan from Klipbank and the runner-up was Margaret Van Heusden from Vryheid.
