Richards Bay Bowling Club was the Venue for the first Specsavers Pro 10 District Tournament, held on 7th - 8th June 2014.

What an amazing weekend, with great Bowls and fantastic fellowship. It is always great to meet up with old and to make new friends!

The Specsavers Pro 10 format is an exciting way to play the game and we encourage all Clubs to play this format now and again as an alternative to the normal 'Tabs In'.

Congratulations to Andre Vivier and Ida Oosthuizen from Harrismith on winning the Specsavers Pro 10 District Tournament!

Runners Up were Barry Mutlow and Ronell Greef from Richards Bay Bowling Club, well done!

Both Teams of Andre and Ida and Barry and Ronell will participate at the BSA Specsavers Pro 10 Tournament to be held in Port Elizabeth on the 13th and 14th of September 2014. President Andrew and the Executive wish them a safe journey and best of luck for a wonderful Tournament!!!

Third place went to John Cross and Nolan Malan from Vryheid Bowling Club. This was Nolan's first ever District Tournament and both John and Nolan played excellent bowls throughout the whole weekend. Well done!!

Sheilagh White and Lyn Coetzee from Empangeni Bowling Club took 4th place in the Tournament. This was the only all ladies team and they are to be congratulated on the high standard of Bowls they displayed!!

All the players who participated in the Tournament are to be congratulated on the wonderful camaraderie displayed both on and off the Greens!!
